Status: FIRST DRAFT. This text is served with the live web product, but it still needs a proper legal read and the placeholders marked [this — pending] below filling in. It is not a completed legal review.

These terms are between you and Phil Smith, trading as feed·tracker, a sole trader (70 Pattingham Drive, Tamworth, B77 4RR, United Kingdom), referred to here as "we" or "us". "The service" means feed·tracker, however you access it.
The service is sold as a single, one-off purchase for lifetime access — not a subscription. There is no recurring charge, and we will never silently start billing you again after this purchase.
"Lifetime" means for as long as we continue to operate the service — it is not a guarantee that the service will be available forever, on every future device or operating system version, irrespective of circumstances. If we ever have to discontinue the service, we commit to reasonable advance notice and a final opportunity to export your data before it closes.
Purchase is made directly through this website, at the price shown at checkout (currently £20). Payment is processed by Stripe, who act as merchant of record — Stripe is the seller of this purchase for tax purposes, handling VAT/sales tax directly, though the service itself is provided by us, not Stripe. Prices may change for new purchasers in future; if you've already bought lifetime access, that access continues at no extra charge. Store versions, when released, will use the same one-time family lifetime-access product through Apple or Google billing; the store price and store-specific terms will be shown before purchase.
New families can use the full service for seven days without payment. The trial is tied to the family account and does not renew or create a charge by itself. When it ends, product-data access pauses until the household unlock is purchased through this website or the relevant app store.
Refund requests should be sent to feedtracker@outlook.com. We aim to review each request within 48 hours. Nothing in these terms removes any statutory right you have as a consumer. [Whether the Consumer Contracts Regulations' 14-day digital-content cancellation right applies here, and whether the checkout flow needs to capture an explicit waiver of it, needs a solicitor's read — not asserted either way in this draft.]
The service is for logging your own family's feeding and weight data. Please don't:
We can suspend or terminate an account that breaches this, though we'll aim to warn you first unless the breach is serious or ongoing.
You're responsible for keeping your login details to yourself and for anything done through your account. Tell us if you think someone else has access to it. You can export or delete your own data at any time from within the app — see the Privacy Policy for how that works and for the backup-retention caveat on deletion.
feed·tracker is not a medical device, and using it is not medical advice of any kind. The app shows you the feeds and weights you've logged, and compares today's numbers with your own baby's recent history. Anything shown as an estimate — including a running total for a day that isn't over yet — is calculated from what's been logged so far and is not a statement about what your baby needs, or ought to be doing, now or in future.
Nothing in this app tells you whether your baby is feeding enough, whether anything is wrong, or what to do about it. For any question or concern about your baby's feeding, growth, or health, please speak to a health visitor, GP, or other qualified professional — not this app.
The service is provided "as is". We don't promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available on every device, and we're not liable for loss or damage arising from feed or weight data being lost, delayed, or logged incorrectly (including by you), to the fullest extent the law allows.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for:
[Statutory basis for the above carve-out — pending confirmation of the correct citation for a consumer contract, e.g. the Consumer Rights Act 2015 alongside or instead of the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977 — needs a proper legal check rather than this draft's best guess.]
Subject to that carve-out, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the service.
We may update these terms from time to time; we'll flag material changes in-app rather than changing them quietly. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the update.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute — without removing any statutory right you have to bring a claim in your own country's courts as a consumer.
